A product of the Tranmere development system, Danny Walker-Rice is a forward with a good reputation at youth level.
A second-year scholar during 2018-19, Danny actually made his senior debut as an 85th-minute replacement for Devarn Green in Tranmere's 1-2 National League defeat to Solihull Moors on 24th April 2018.
Whilst he did not make any further senior appearances during the 2018-19 League Two campaign, he was named on the bench for the EFL Trophy tie against Manchester City Under-21s on 30th October 2018.
One of four scholars to sign professional terms for 2019-20, Danny will enter a striking roster looking to move the Club forward following the departure of 2018-19 top scorer James Norwood.
Walker-Rice will have to learn from, and compete with, senior strikers such as Ishmael Miller, Paul Mullin and Stefan Payne if he wants to make progress in his TRFC development.
Interesting Fact: After coming on as a 64th-minute substitute, Danny scored the third goal in a 0-4 friendly victory over Dunfermline Athletic on 7th July 2018.
