Born in Cameroon, 6-feet-4-and-a-half-inch tall defender Manny came through the academy system at Queens Park Rangers. Part of their youth setup until 2013, Monthé then joined the senior squad for the 2013-14 season.
To aid his development, Manny was sent out on loan to Conference Premier side Southport, where he played 7 games for the Sandgrounders between March and May 2014. Upon his return to Loftus Road, he was deemed surplus to requirements and was released in the summer of 2014.
Over the course of the 2014-15 season, he had no fewer than 4 clubs, with short-term tenures with Whitehawk, Tonbridge Angels, Heybridge Swifts and Hayes & Yeading United preceding a transfer to Havant & Waterlooville for the 2015-16 campaign.
After 11 appearances for the Hawks, Manny was loaned back to Hayes & Yeading United for the remainder of the season, playing a further 17 matches for the Beaconsfield Road side. He also scored his first senior goal during his return to United.
Monthé subsequently signed for National League South side Bath City, playing 19 matches and scoring 4 goals at the start of the 2016-17 season. His impressive start saw him attract interest from several clubs, but it was Forest Green Rovers of the National League who eventually secured his services.
After 16 appearances for the Green Devils, Manny had helped take the Gloucestershire club into the Football League for the first time, winning the National League Play-offs in May 2017.
In the first half of the 2017-18 campaign, Monthé played 20 times across various competitions (League Two, the FA Cup, the EFL Cup and the Football League Trophy), making his last appearance away to Swindon Town on 13th January 2018.
Tranmere manager Micky Mellon signed Manny as defensive cover on 22nd February 2018. He joined the Prenton Park outfit until the end of the 2017-18 season, making 6 appearances, including the semi-final and final of the 2018 National League Play-Off success to write his name in Rovers' history as a 'Wembley Warrior'.
Out of contract at the end of 2017-18, Manny rejoined Tranmere on a permanent basis in June 2018, signing a 1-year contract with the Club.
His exceptional performances at the heart of the Tranmere defence helped the Club secure a second successive promotion, defeating Newport County 0-1 in the 2018-19 League Two Play-off Final to win promotion to League One. For his efforts, Manny was named Young Player of the Season 2018-19.
On 11th June 2019, he signed a new 2-year contract at Prenton Park, keeping him at Tranmere until the end of the 2020-21 campaign.
Interesting Fact: Manny was at least partially responsible for Rovers' 2017 play-off heartbreak, playing for Forest Green Rovers in their 3-1 victory over Tranmere at Wembley in May 2017.
