Born in Bootle, Morgan is a lifelong Evertonian. He joined the Toffees in 2006 at just 7 years of age and has progressed through the youth ranks at Goodison Park ever since.
Capped 14 times for England at Under-17, Under-18 and Under-19 levels, he was a member of Everton's 2016-17 Premier League 2 title win, despite him being just 18 in an Under-23 squad.
The following season he was named captain of the Under-23 team and made his senior debut in a UEFA Europa League tie against Atalanta on 23rd November 2017. His second appearance for the Toffees' senior side came in the same competition, Morgan starting in a 3-0 victory over Apollon Limassol.
Feeney signed a new contract in December 2017 but missed the end of the season due to surgery for a knee problem. The injury did not prevent Morgan winning the Under-23s Player of the Season award for 2017-18.
The following year, 2018-19, Morgan captained an Everton Under-23 side that completed a Premier League 2 and Premier League Cup double.
After continuing in the same form at the start of 2019-20, Micky Mellon brought Morgan to Prenton Park on 31st January 2020 on a loan deal until the end of the season — the first loan move of his career.
Interesting Fact: Although Morgan has been at Everton since the age of 7, he previously spent time with rivals Liverpool before that.
