A former England 'C' international, Morgan was born in Plaistow, London. It was with one of the capital's giants, Arsenal, that he spent most of his youth, staying with the Gunners between 2003 and 2011.
He did not sign professional terms and instead transferred to the youth systems of Watford (2011) and Nottingham Forest (2012), becoming a professional at the City Ground.
A short loan at Kettering Town preceded a year away from the game, after which Morgan joined Crystal Palace in 2014 but failed to make an appearance for the Eagles. Brief spells at Bishop's Stortford and Hemel Hempstead Town earned him a move to Boreham Wood in 2016 and it was at Meadow Park that his career started to blossom.
Scoring 14 goals in 37 appearances in all competitions for the Wood in 2016-17 earned him a move to National League rivals Dagenham & Redbridge for 2017-18. He scored 8 goals in 33 appearances for the Daggers before financial difficulties at Victoria Road saw him going back to Boreham Wood midway through the season.
He picked up where he left off, scoring 7 goals in 15 games as the Wood qualified for the 2018 National League play-off final, where they would ultimately lose 2-1 to 10-man Tranmere. Ferrier missed the game through injury.
Nonetheless, Morgan had impressed, and he moved to League One Walsall in 2018, scoring 6 goals in 39 appearances in all competitions as the Saddlers were relegated to League Two at the end of 2018-19.
With Tranmere earning promotion, they had swapped divisions with the Saddlers and, on 1st August 2019, Morgan joined Rovers for an undisclosed fee.
Interesting Fact: Morgan's last match for Walsall was a pre-season friendly against Tranmere 5 days before joining Rovers on a 2-year contract.
